- Would this be a good idea for decorating the NYC Christmas tree?
An idea just came to me. You know that one huge Christmas tree that is displayed in New York City every year around that season? What if they decorated it with Christmas balls like this; let each ball be decorated in the like of every national flag worldwide, representing each country(for instance, the U.S. ball would be red, white and blue like our flag, Canada's would be red and white with the leaf and Africa's would be black, red and green etc.) I guess it would resemble something like one big Christmas tree with contributions from all over the world lol. Anyway, how would it be that is, if it hasn't been done already?
- What are some inexpensive ways to decorate for Christmas that don't look it?
I'm really into the fanciness of a NewYork Department store Christmas. Lots of Gold, Silver, classy look. But I can afford Big Lots. What to do? I am not much into the cutesy, fat Santa country look. Any ideas???

- Christmas tree question...?
...in my birth country the tradition is to put up the christmas tree and decorate it on the 24th of december, nobody is doing it any other day only the 24th. ...since I've been living in England I adopted to some of the cultures of this country, and I really like the idea of having the tree up and decorated earlier than the 24th. But how much earlier really? This year I can't wait to do it but is it not a bit too early? Maybe because my son is 2 I feel like he will really apreciate it...lol...or I am just living my second childhood..? Oh how much I love christmas..lol When do you put up and decorate your christmas tree? ...

- Decorating for the holidays?
So we just bought this cute country home this yr (please don't pay attn to the landscaping, or lack of). With the holidays coming, why do I have no earthly idea how to decorate it?! You'd think the possibilities would be endless but I go blank! http://i142.photobucket.com/albums/r107/tlmcmichael/House%20Reno%20Progress/Outside6After.jpg http://i142.photobucket.com/albums/r107/tlmcmichael/House%20Reno%20Progress/outside2after.jpg I'm thinking Halloween (I have toddlers so nothing too scary), fall, Christmas. I really want to make it beautiful for Christmas. I know I definitely want a white lighted garland w/red bows along the banisters (how can you not?!)...but what else? Would it be too much to hang something between each of the banisters? Maybe just the garland & a nice wreath will do...what do you think? All suggestions welcome :)

- What is a good color scheme for decorating a bedroom in cool colors incorporating silhouettes into decoration?
I am trying to redo my mom's bedroom for Christmas but I cannot figure out what color scheme. It is a decent sized master bedroom with plain white walls. She would like it to be romantic and a little feminine. She likes cool colors but does not want a lot of white or light colors since we have pets. She likes beige or tan, soft greens and blues (not for the walls). She does not like maroons or golds. She has a collection of antique silhouettes that she would like hung on the walls. I am having a hard time figuring out what color to paint the walls and what colors for the bedding/curtains etc... I am afraid if I do a green and tan/beige scheme it would not work with the silhouette collection. Any ideas? I have looked for country, antique schemes but everything seems too busy. Help!
- Merry Christmas, Have My Virginity?
For christmas, I plan to let my boyfriend have my virginity. Im 17, and I understand what I am doing, and I know that Im alright with it. How should I go about this? Places? We live in a city, but he lives a bit further out in the country, his family owns a farm. Should I wrap up some sexy lingere? and kind of let him figure it out for himself? or should I just wrap a large bow around my ass and breasts, and let him unwrap me, hahaha. Just ideas please, Ive thought about this for a while, and I know he's been ready for a while now, but I havent been so sure because it didnt feel right going that far yet... but I know what I want, and how I feel. I want ideas on places to go maybe, how to decorate the place, items of clothing I shalt not be wearing, you get the gist of it? thanks guys Haha, the bow idea was a joke, but thanks anyways. I was thinking of setting something up out on the farm under the stars. Just under one of the trees. I have condoms, pills etc etc on hand at all times anyways. We havent had sex yet, but Ive always carried them around as an emergency :]

- Who here would like to read funny jokes?
Two blondes decided that this Christmas they wanted to cut down their own Christmas tree. So they drove two hours into the country and walked deep into the woods to find the perfect Christmas tree. They had planned the trip well, especially considering that they were blond. They were dressed warmly with boots, warm coats and hats. They had a chain saw, hatchet, a bag to protect the tree and rope to drag it back to their car. Every detail was covered. They searched and searched. They had gone to all this trouble, nothing but the prefect tree would do. They searched for hours through knee deep snow and biting wind. Finally, five hours later with the sun beginning to go down, one blonde says to the other, "I can't take this anymore. I give up! There are hundreds of beautiful trees out here. Let's just pick one whether it's decorated or not!" ******************************** A blonde and a redhead met for dinner after work and were watching the 6 o'clock news. A man was shown threatening to jump from the Brooklyn Bridge. The blonde bet the redhead $50 that he wouldn't jump, and the redhead replied, "I'll take that bet!" Anyway, sure enough, he jumped, so the blonde gave the redhead the $50 she owned. The redhead said, "I can't take this, you're my friend." The blonde said, "No. A bet's a bet." So the redhead said, "Listen, I have to admit, I saw this one on the 5 o'clock news, so I can't take your money." The blonde replied, "Well, so did I, but I never thought he'd jump again!" *************************** Two blondes went to the pound where each adopted a puppy. The joy of their new best friend was quickly overshadowed when they got home and the first blonde said, "I think we're in trouble, how are we going to tell them apart?" This lead to several hours of concentration until finally, the second blonde said, "I've got an idea. We'll tie a red bow around my puppy and a blue bow around yours." The next day the first blonde comes running up to the second when she got home, "Oh no, I can't tell whose puppy is whose. They've pulled the ribbons off while they were playing." "OK, we need to find a better way to tell them apart," says the second blonde. After several more hours of concentration, they came up with the bright idea of getting different colored collars. Again, the next day, the first blonde comes running up to the second as soon as she gets home, "Oh no, I can't tell whose puppy is whose. They've pulled their collars off while they were playing." "There's got to be some way to tell them apart," says the second blonde. After several more hours of concentration, the first blonde finally comes up with another idea, "I know! Why don't you take the black one and I'll take the white one!" *If you want to hear more jokes plz star this*

- What's wrong with my brother? Please help.?
So here's my story. I come from a non-practicing Muslim family. We were not raised on a religious basis and we were given the freedom to choose whatever suits us. Anyway, I have a younger brother who is 12 years old. I have noticed a major change in his attitude. When we were decorating the Christmas tree he was like this is for Christians why do we put it? Funny thing is, we have always decorated for Christmas and that's the first year he mentions that. Today I came back home after going to college for the week and while having lunch he was talking about how my mom sister and I should pray and be more religious with a high and violent tone. I made him eat lunch alone and lectured him how his friends are the ones talking to him about this false religion stuff and told him how your relationship with god should be kept a private matter. He is 12 he would not understand my point of view. I really think his friends are the ones who are talking to him about religion although he goes to an evangelical school. It seems his close buddies come from conservative Muslim backgrounds. Just for the record, there is nothing wrong with being religious or Islam itself. I do not believe but I wouldn't want to force my bro into anything. I am just worried he is being brainwashed by young conservative children and turn out to have a demented idea about Islam itself. What should I do? I am really worried. Should I go and talk with the principal and ask him to give them religious lectures? It's a secular educational institution I wouldn't think he would do it. The reason I am also worried is because I live in Lebanon and for those of you who don't know Lebanon is a very diverse country and I wouldn't want my brother to be conservative and end up being a social outcast.
